The Telangana Legislative Assembly election will be held on November 30, 2023. The election is going to be held to choose all 119 members of the Telangana Legislative Assembly. For this year Gazette Notification for General Elections to the Legislative Assemblies of Telangana, 2023 was issued on November 3 (Friday) and the last date for the nominations was November 10 (Friday).
Telangana is all set for the Poll for tomorrow November 30 (Thursday). It has been reported that the voter numbers for 2023 have gone up by 5.8% since January. Around 1.59 Cr male voters, and 1.58 Cr female voters are available in Telangana state. There are also transgender voters with a count of around 2500.
The current ruling party is the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, now called Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and currently has 98 out of 119 seats. The main opposition parties are the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Indian National Congress.

All educational institutions will remain closed on November 29th and 30th due to the polls confirmed by Hyderabad district collector Anudeep Durishetty. Due to the Polling Day on November 30, Section 144 will be enforced before 48 hours, which means gatherings of four or more people in the state are strictly prohibited.
